This service price is for clients who would like to add-on anal gland expression to their dog bath or grooming service. It is not intended for a stand alone service.

This is the Paw-ferct package. Your dog will love it, and so will you! It includes: Full wash, hair cut, nail trim, teeth brushing (or breath spray depending on dog's reaction to the brushing of their teeth), ear cleaning, color shampoo, anal gland expression (by request only). To finalize, he or she will get a bandana, tie, or a bow (must request at the time of booking or directly to your groomer), and a spritz of perfume. Note: Anal expression should not be performed frequently. Your groomer must be notified if your dog has anal gland problem, and this service may not be appropriate in such cases. Signs to look for are: scooting of the rear end on the floor, licking or chewing beneath the tail, sudden foul fishy odor or leakage, and/or redness or swelling near the anal area. Contact your vet if you think your animal is experiencing these symptoms.

Dogs anal glands should be expressed when needed. It is not recommended to do this on a regular basis, especially if your dog has anal gland problems. It is always good to check with your vet concerning the health of your dog's anal glands. This service price covers the travel and anal gland expression only. It is not associated with bath or grooming service.
